Our Bats

Our Lifetime Residents

Some of the bats we receive will unfortunately never be able to survive in the wild on their own, and to that end, we have established an area for our “permanent residents”.   We’re committed to caring for these bats for the rest of their lives.  You can find out a little about our community and how to support them here.

You Can Help!

The Pennsylvania Bat Rescue and Rehabilitation Center operates entirely on donations, and one of the biggest sources of our funding comes from individuals who want to help us with this endeavor.  Everything we receive goes directly to our daily operations. By donating to the organization, you help us rescue and rehabilitate more of these amazing creatures every day.  Every little bit helps, so please consider donating or adopting one of our patients.

What We Do

Bat Rehabilitation

Providing professional care to native bat species by integrating veterinary medicine, rehabilitation, conservation and research.

Programs and Lectures

We are committed to improving the well-being of bats and their habitat through education. Dispelling common misconceptions is essential to the conservation and protection of bats.

Conservation Initiatives

While we don't provide bat removal services ourselves, we partner with several individuals and companies who provide humane bat removals and exclusions. If you find a bat, go here first.
